Students are working on developing the use of a RasPIX detector to measure background radiation at sea. With the support of MOST AV, who developed the Autonaut, sea trails have commenced even in the current wintry conditions to test the operation of the equipment.

Once trials have been completed successfully, the sensors will be deployed on other missions and the data made available in the same manner as the TimPix and Higgs Hunters projects.
